Watchdives has more pieces here than any other brand, and although its name and half its output point at diving, that is not all it does: of the 204 watches in this catalogue, 103 are divers, 59 are 37-millimetre quartz dress watches, 16 are chronographs and 16 carry a second time zone.
History
The house publishes no founder, no date and no address beyond China, and none is invented here: what is verifiable is what it makes. Diving is its origin and still half the catalogue — 60-minute bezel, screw-down crown, big luminous markers — but it has widened out: 37-millimetre quartz dress watches with the VH31 calibre and its continuous seconds hand, chronographs with the VK63 meca-quartz, and GMTs with the NH34, one of the few affordable automatics with a second time zone. The movements are Japanese throughout, and the cases run from 37 to 42 millimetres, restrained sizes for the genre.
