Privacy

What we measure, what we don't, and why. No small print.

In short: There are no accounts and we do not know who you are. We count visits anonymously to learn which watches people care about. Google Analytics sets two cookies; nothing else here does. We collect no personal data about you.

There are no accounts

This site has no sign-up and no log-in. We do not ask for your email, your name or your address. There is nothing you can give us, because we do not want to hold anything of yours.

What we measure

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies. Instead of following you, it identifies each visit with a code derived from the request itself, and that code is discarded after 24 hours. Your IP address is not stored.

Since 9 August 2026 we also use Google Analytics, which does set two cookies in your browser. They exist to tell a thousand visits apart from a hundred people who came back ten times. It is here for one concrete reason and it is worth saying out loud: so that one day we can sell ad space, because the networks that buy it insist on seeing the numbers there and accept no other tool. Any blocker stops it and the site works just the same.

For each visit we record:

  • · Which page you saw and at what time.
  • · Where you came from (Google, Instagram, a direct link).
  • · Your approximate country and city. Never your exact location.
  • · Which browser and what kind of device you use.
  • · Whether you clicked an Amazon button, and on which watch.

None of it is tied to a person. They are loose numbers that serve one purpose: knowing which watches are worth writing about and which ones nobody cares for.

What we don't do

  • · We do not sell or share data with anyone.
  • · We use no advertising cookies and none that follow you between sites.
  • · We do not track you onto other sites.
  • · We do not build profiles of anyone.

When you leave for Amazon

Our links carry an affiliate tag so that Amazon knows the visit came from here. The moment you leave this site, Amazon's rules apply rather than ours: they do use cookies and they do have their own policy. We never see what you bought — Amazon does not even tell us.
