Maison Alhambra

Founded c. 2020 · Dubai, United Arab Emirates · Lattafa Perfumes Industries

Maison Alhambra is not an independent house but the label under which Lattafa puts out its broadest and cheapest catalogue. In five years it went from not existing to more than two hundred launches, and its method is explicit: take an expensive niche fragrance and offer a reading of it for a tenth of the price.

History

The brand appeared around 2020 inside Lattafa Perfumes Industries, at the height of the parent house's rise, and grew at a speed with no equivalent in the trade: by 2025 its catalogue passes two hundred perfumes. The name — the Alhambra of Granada — nods to the Andalusian inheritance, though the house is entirely Emirati. Its strength is rereadings of French niche fragrances, and it is worth saying plainly what it is and is not: a reading is not the original, and anyone looking for the original will not find it here.

Iconic models

  • Jorildyn

Its reading of the amber-spiced genre; among the first that made the label's name.

  • Alpine Homme Sport

A fresh aromatic with a big opening, among the house's best sellers outside the Gulf.

  • Le Jardin

A low-priced white floral that competes with designer releases.

Worth knowing

Two hundred launches in five years is more than century-old European houses have released in their entire history. The speed is the business model, not an accident.
